My husband and I are now in our 29th year of living on a small farm in rural Maine where we raised our children. Through all those years of homeschooling, gardening, and raising Nubian goats, I kept a journal in hopes of becoming a writer of children's books. Well that days is here! I am an award-winning author! My first book-Heavenly Hosts: Eucharistic Miracles for Kids is an Amazon bestseller. My second book-Perilous Days- received the Seal of Approval Award from the Catholic Writer's Guild. In 2022, Lucia of Fatima won the Catholic Media Award for best book for youth, ages 10-16.I also enjoy writing light-hearted and uplifting posts for this blog. In 2018, I became a regular contributor to Catholicmom. Our Lord has blessed me abundantly. I plan to use these writing gifts to spread His Kingdom in my little corner of the world.

My husband pulled up at the drive-up window of our local bank. Just as the teller greeted us, a gray field mouse popped up on … Read moreThe Unexpected Hitchhiker
